  First called here twenty odd years ago and Tony, the fryer and owner, gave me a Grandma Pollards meat pie to try along with the chips I had bought. I have been going back ever since. Best chip shop food anywhere. Plenty of places to sit including a canal side area and a bus! Loads of home made items and you won't belive the size of the vanilla slice!

  Great food (fish & chips) Fresh cooked good cup of tea including seconds. Interesting suroundings to eat in. In good weather you can sit outside on the canal. Same price to eat in as take out.
